Would you like to sell your MINI without having to create listings, answer enquiries, arrange viewings and negotiate the price yourself? With our consignment service, we handle the marketing and sales process for you – from the initial vehicle assessment through to handing the MINI over to its buyer.

How our consignment service works

1. Bring us your MINI

You bring your MINI to us in Schüttorf. We assess its mechanical and cosmetic condition and research the current market to determine whether selling it through us is realistic.

2. Agree on a selling price

Together, we set a realistic selling price. We take the model, specification, mileage, condition, service history and current demand into account.

3. We market your MINI

We create photographs and listings and advertise the MINI on suitable vehicle platforms, our website and at our premises. We also answer enquiries and arrange viewings and test drives.

4. We complete the sale

Once a buyer has been found, we handle the remaining sales process, including the purchase agreement, payment and vehicle handover. You receive your payout within 14 days after the transaction has been successfully completed.

What we handle for you

  • Vehicle assessment and market research to establish a realistic selling price
  • Preparation of the sales listing including vehicle photographs and description
  • Marketing of the vehicle through suitable sales platforms, our website and our premises
  • Handling enquiries from potential buyers and arranging viewings
  • Organisation and supervision of test drives
  • Purchase agreement, payment and handover to the new owner

Which MINIs do we accept?

We do not automatically accept every vehicle for consignment. We assess your MINI at our premises and compare your price expectations with the current market. We then tell you honestly whether we expect a realistic sale that makes sense for both sides.

The MINI remains at our premises in Schüttorf throughout the consignment period. It may remain registered, although deregistering it is usually the better option. We have dealer plates available for arranged test drives.

Sale in its current condition

We only carry out such work after receiving your approval and charge it separately. The agreed costs are then deducted from your payout.

Frequently asked questions about selling on consignment

Who owns the MINI during the consignment period?

The MINI remains your property until it has been successfully sold. The selling price agreed beforehand forms the basis of the consignment agreement and the calculation of our commission.

Does Miniparts24 accept every MINI for consignment?

No. We assess the vehicle at our premises and consider its condition, your price expectations and the current market before deciding whether a successful sale is realistic.

Where does the MINI remain while it is for sale?

The MINI remains at our premises in Schüttorf throughout the consignment period. This allows us to handle enquiries, viewings and test drives reliably.

Does the MINI have to be deregistered before the sale?

Deregistration is not mandatory, but is generally recommended. We have dealer plates available for arranged test drives.

Can I end the consignment agreement at any time?

Yes, there is no minimum term. If you collect the vehicle, end the agreement early or sell the MINI yourself during the consignment period, we charge 10% of the agreed selling price including VAT.

Are repairs carried out before the MINI is sold?

We generally sell the MINI in its current condition. Sensible cleaning, maintenance or repair work can be carried out at additional cost after prior agreement. These costs are deducted from the later payout.

When will I receive the sale proceeds?

Payment is made within 14 days after the sale has been successfully completed. The agreed commission and any approved additional work are deducted beforehand.
