A Bilstein B12 sports suspension suitable for the first generation of the BMW MINI – R50, R52 and R53 (model years 2001–2006) – is for sale. The suspension comprises Bilstein gas-charged shock absorbers combined with specially tuned sport springs and offers a significantly sportier set-up compared to the standard suspension.
The B12 kit has been one of the most popular suspension solutions for the first-generation MINI for years. It combines precise road holding, reduced body roll and a sportier look with everyday practicality that is significantly superior to many pure coilover kits. The MINI benefits particularly on winding country roads or when driven in a sporty manner from the significantly more direct feedback and more stable suspension characteristics.
The suspension has been removed from the vehicle and is in second-hand condition. All components are complete and are ideal as an upgrade for vehicles with worn-out standard suspension or for drivers who wish to enhance their MINI’s dynamic handling.
